Pic of the Day: Skyward
There’s something about a sunest skyscape with palm trees and phone poles that perfectly embodies LA. There’s a great scene in House of Sand and Fog where a patriarch looks out over a cluttered California sunset with satisfaction. Most people don’t seem to notice it after a while, but I still always do.

At any given moment there are about 100-200 bees in my garden. I love bees almost as much as hummingbirds. One did a flyby as I was trying to get an ECU of another.
