As I mentioned back in February, Calpernia’s Bad Questions video was making the rounds on YouTube. A couple of days ago, YouTube made it a featured video. If you want to get a sense of how far trans people have to go in the court of public opinion, check out the comments, which are even worse than the ones we read in the Calpy Slams video. I always knew that stupid people had a hard time grasping satire and camp, but wow, just… wow.

I’m sure the satire in these will be lost on the unwashed masses, too:

    OY! I feared the comments for the “Bad Questions” video would get really nasty after the “Bad Questions” video got put up on YouTube’s main page! The dumb fucks are also starting to post their cruel comments on Calpernia’s own website!

    (Calpernia’s Wikipedia article has also been vandalized a lot during the past few days.)

    I’m so very disappointed in humanity right now (more so than usual). downer
