“Laundromat” screening party

February 23rd, 2008

Last night was the long-awaited screening party for ”Laundromat,” the short film by Edward Gunawan and David Maurice Gil. We had a great crowd on hand, including most of the cast and key crew. I played Maya, and Calpernia played my girlfriend Angie, which will do nothing to quell the erroneous rumors that we are a couple.

Gee, it seems like every day you go out to some sort of party or special event! Maybe you should spend a little more time at home, because your kitties probably miss their mommy!

I do hope “Laundromat” is screened at one of the film festivals in L.A.! I would definitely go to see it, even though you and Calpernia are probably in the movie for just a few seconds!

(Yeah, playing a lesbian couple in a movie won’t help your efforts to stop those rumors about you and Calpernia!)

So how do we get to see this movie?  And congrats on all of the inroads you and Cal are making into Hollywood.  I’m watching your careers with intense interest.

“Laundromat” will premiere at the 10th FilmOut San Diego LGBT Film Festival this spring. After that, they hope it will make the rounds and possibly get picked up for air. Stay tuned!
